Stage 4 Lung Cancer

To patients that have been diagnosed 

with stage 4 lung cancer there is hope. 

I did a lot of research on this topic,

 due to my brother recently was 

diagnosed with 4th stage lung cancer.

The drug that seems to show promise is called Tarceva.

 The drug is taken orally. It has shrunk 

tumors and prolonged quality of life.

Is your mineral makeup dangerous to your health?

The small particles from mineral makeup can cause harm when they are inhaled when being applied to the skin.  They can settle in the lungs causing scarring. Long term scarring can cause inflammation, irritation and lung disease in women and girls. Dr. Oz did suggest that women should stop using mineral makeup and switch to liquid foundation. Of course companies such as Bare Essentials are not pleased with this claim and are suggesting that these findings are unfounded, but logic may suggest differently. The next time you use your mineral makeup watch the small particles that circulates the perimeter of the area that is in your proximity. Do you think they are ingested and inhaled? 

If you must use mineral make up hold it away from your face when you are swirling the make-up on the brush and tapping off the excess. Wait few minutes then apply it.

Chat Me More has written about this subject before after experiencing reaction to certain lipsticks. 

" Finally it's in the news that lipstick does carry lead." Lead was found in 400 lipsticks. The question is what is considered safe? "I personally would chose none."  FDA (Food and Drug Administration) officials, reported the lead concerns are not at a safety concern. Lipstick contains an average of 1.11 ppm lead of the 400 lipsticks that were tested in 2010. 

Result from the latest lipstick-lead survey reported that the lead ranged from .026 ppm to 7.19 ppm. The cosmetic companies that were tested were lipsticks by Estee lauder, the Body Shop,  Clinique and Avon. These companies are parent companies to other brands of lipsticks. The worst lipsticks containing lead were Maybelline's Color Sensation in Pink Petal, which had 7.19 ppm of lead, Loreal Colour Riche in Volcanic, which had 7 ppm, CoverGirl and Nars had 4-to-5 ppm.

Connecticut woman who lost her children and parents from a Christmas fire attempts suicide. Madonna Badger lost three daughters and her parents during a Christmas fire. She was hospitalized for hurting herself in an attempt to kill herself. The fire was on Christmas morning and it claimed her parents and her three daughters ages 10 and her 7-year-old twins. Badger tried to save her children, but the fire wall was just too thick. The fire began when they cleaned the  hot embers from the fireplace because the girls didn't want to burn Santa Claus when he came down the chimney. They placed the hot embers into the trash.

A Oklahoma bill is abandoning aborted human fetus from food. What food has fetuses in it has many wondering. The bill was introduced on January 18, 2012 by State Senator Ralph Shortey it prohibits the sale of food or any products that are for human consumption from containing aborted human fetuses.  It seems that a company in San Diego, Ca. uses embryonic kidney cells for artificial sweeteners.  The cell-line is known as HEK 293.

Soap star kills himself because co-op boards enforced anti-pooch laws throughout Manhattan. Nick Santino 47, killed himself hours after having to euthanized his healthy pit bull. His residence was at One Lincoln Plaza and the board was banning certain dogs and their sizes. It seems that many residents in Manhattan are being forced to starve their dogs to keep their weight down when they go up against the board. Residents have even drugged their dogs so they won't bark when the board test the dogs when they ring a buzzer "as if was the door bell."
